70656 garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! revealed
Posted by TheBrickPal,
The aptly-named, Toys R Us exclusive 70656 garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! has been revealed at SDCC preview night! This LEGO NINJAGO Movie set will be released on December 1st, priced at $79.99.
Lord Garmadon and Lloyd are included, as well as a hot dog guy, female citizen and two Shark Army soldiers. The models are the mighty robotic shark seen in the first trailer way back in February (scaled down heavily), and a hot dog cart to destroy.

Very cool, but that hotdog stand steals the show!
Very nice, I think. Looks like there will be an interior.
Looks excellent. The design doesn't look like anything from the movie (e.g. the toes) but I'll accept what I see is what I get.
Might actually buy this for the hotdog stand.
COOL!!
The Hot Dog Guy's face is blank. I wonder what that could mean for the film. Maybe that is why this set is only now being revealed (besides the fact that is gonna be released next year not this year), like how they blanked out Shocker in the Spider-man Homecoming set?
^ Just a placeholder. Same with the girl. We saw both of these characters in the first trailer - nothing special.
This might be a good starting point for creating The Condiment King from TLBM.
Wow wow wow- I can't believe this is only $79.99! This has become my 4th favorite Ninjago Movie Set after Ninjago City, Destiny's Bounty, and Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate weapon.
Also, super happy this comes out December 1st rather than January 1st, it will make for a great Christmas gift :D
I think the set is pretty cool, Too bad its $80 though, that could have gotten rid of the hotdog stand and made the set cheaper.
@Khscarymovie: I agree except they should dump the shark-bot and release this as a hotdog stand!
@JasterMereel42, Condiment King is coming in Wave 3.
Really like this set. Both of the builds look incredible and there's a pretty decent minifigure selection. I dare say that this is in the top 5 best sets of the line.
Looks like the spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! pattern skips a generation.
Where's the batmobile, Batmobile, BATMOBILE, Lego?
Like the shark thing, LOVE the hotdog stand.
Hotdog cart is totally rad!
Loos like a great set with excellent accessories at a very accessible price point. Unfortunately for me, I feel like this suffers from the same problem as MetalBeard's Sea Cow where the set is much smaller than what is depicted in the film, and the original sheer scale was what made it so impressive.
...way too small. Garmadon's bot was better.
Wasn't it 70619 or was that number wrong?
Where is the baby!
Is that a pizza on top of the Giant hotdog.
Awesome
I only own two earlier ninjago sets, but I quite like this for the shark and mini hotdog cart..
Seriously considering what I can sell to be able to afford all these lovely Ninjago sets.
Shouldn't this really be 'shark, Shark, SHARK!'?
It looks a lot nicer than I expected!
@TheOriginalSimonB Ditto!
Looks cool but they could also include the groom and the bride from the trailer to recreate the moment. I like the set even if it's scaled down especially the Hot Dog stand and Hot Dog guy from the CMF line, hopefully more and more collectible minifigures make the jump to be more available to buy without a blind bag.
I'll buy it for the hotdog stand alone!
Love the Shark & Hot Dog stand!
Looks much better than Garma Mecha Man!
I cannot wait for this movie!
I just want the hotdog man and hotdog stand!
Hmm.. well its kinda cool looking, but I can't see myself making a trip out to Toys R Us just for this.
This looks very interesting from what I can tell... Might have to get this, as well as many of the other sets.
With this I no longer feel a need to pick up the Friends hot dog truck. Plus it will fit into a city better (the cart, not the shark, lol)!
I can not believe they dibn't include the Garmadon steering cockpit on the sharck mech.
Actually, I was wondering.. how many sets TRU had to abide to order to get this "exclusive".. was it 5.000? 10.000 .. or 20.000 ? .. it goes hand in hand with the production, art work, boxes, moulding costs..
Good lookin' Shark submarine. Definitely a pick up for me.
The pics of the large Thor and Flash statues look great! Like the lighting and background on them.
I really hope there's an interior, even without one I still am definetly getting it.
I really like how silly it looks for a shark to have big legs.
This was a big thing I thought was missing from the first wave, glad it'll be in the second.
hot, Dog, STAND!
