That’s absolutely awesome!
I love how full of character it is. I hope most of the little details like the teacup and the diverse range of books make it into the final product.
That is a lovely little model. Perfect GWP.
In the meantime I'm holding out for the Galileo GWP before buying something big. It can't be too long, right? It's been over a year and the design seemed pretty straightforward (it's not a playable football table).
I wonder what’s taking so long to release these Ideas sets.
That's gorgeous, keen to pick it up
Perfect - I love this!
That's nice. I have a range of similar but slightly smaller bookshelves in my alchemists workshop.
Nice little set. But I'm not sure about this brick build ladder.. We do have ladders in lego? This one looks very crude.
I love the globe!
I voted Solitaire, but this is excellent too.
A lot of potentially very good Ideas sets coming up if well executed. Particularly looking forward to Orient Express, Phone Box, Polaroid Camera and Galileo.
The historian in me loves this set. Nothing like a personal library full of books, looking forward to this.
I want to see the changes LEGO makes....
Looks very nice. Hope they don't change too much - apart from that ladder of course.
I hope the threshold isn't too high; it's an adorable build and I want one.
That's super cute. Although I voted for relaxing in the Winter Spa as I thought it would go nicely with the A Frame when I eventually picked it up.
Solid build, it just need more actual books.
@fourstud:
A while back, I noticed that the lead time from announcing that a project would be turned into a set, to actually releasing the set itself, was running about one year out. This really jumped out at me because I checked the backlog of projects in late December one year, and every remaining project had been announced that same year, while there was not a single project from that same year that had actually gone on sale.
I hope the Galileo set is free with the purchase of some awesome NASA based set.
This makes me think they should do more piece-number-range, targeted-themed submissions.
That is incredible! I’m a librarian so this is definitely something I will be needing haha
I can’t wait to see this available as a gift alongside a meager purchase of $249.99!! :D
'Bout time "Singles Day" became a thing--first I've heard of it, but love the concept. Great model, too. Hopefully it's not locked behind some absurdly-high GWP threshold.

"I do like this, but it's not hugely practical. You're probably better off having two or three medium-height bookcases instead of one gigantic tower, unless you live in a lighthouse."
Or ten…
